Banchory Leggart
PPCA has been commissioned by Banchory Leggart Estates and Edinmore to manage a major proposal for a 35ha business park, circa 3,000 houses, associated primary & secondary school, local services, park & ride and a 360ha country park adjacent to Aberdeen. The proposal blends much needed business land with a large country park and mixed housing to provide a new sustainable community located in a gateway location. The ethos behind the development is to ensure that the proposal works with the landscape, is deliverable and helps provide a sustainable future for the region post oil extraction. Our commission includes providing strategic planning advice, the formation of an emerging masterplan, detailed landscape analysis and managing a large team of hand picked consultants to ensure that the proposal is properly promoted and that the project team effectively engages with a wide spectrum of public and private sector stakeholders and with the local community.  The project is a preferred strategic development site in the Aberdeenshire Council Main Issues Report.
