A90 Balmedie - Tipperty
PPCA landscape architects have extensive experience of major infrastructure projects, at all stages from assessment through design to construction.Â
On the A90 Balmedie – Tipperty trunk road improvements for Transport Scotland we were part of the design team with Grontmij, civil engineers and Natural Capital, ecologists. PPCA’s role included helping develop the route options and contributing to the route selection process. Once the route corridor was selected, we carried out the landscape and visual impact assessment and designed the associated landscape works. Details of the route were challenged at Public Inquiry, where PPCA Ltd acted as expert witness, helping Transport
